F ounded in 2000, Peterson ePractice Advantage specializes in managing medical practices for those physicians and practice groups who see patients only in institutional settings (such as hospitals, nursing homes, or specialty centers).
Our first client was a newly formed physician practice group. This practice group successfully branched into a new type of medicine - physicians who only see hospitalized patients on behalf of patients' primary care physician (often referred to as "hospitalists").
By relying on us to take care of the entire business spectrum, these hospitalists are able to concentrate on their patients. And, by using hospitalists, the primary care physicians regain the time they formerly spent traveling to and from hospitals and dealing with emergencies in other areas of their practice.
